Services & Pricing

Standard Tuning Visit - $200

For pianos kept on a regular maintenance schedule.

If your piano is played frequently and was tuned within the last 2 years, this service will return it to stable, concert-pitch harmony.

Pitch Restoration & Tuning - $300

For pianos that have not been tuned in 2 or more years.

When a piano sits for years, string tension drops significantly. This service includes a preliminary pitch-raising pass to stabilize the instrument before the final fine tuning.

Note: I evaluate pitch on arrival. If the piano is stable enough for a single-pass tuning, I’ll perform the Standard Tuning instead (and charge the lower rate).

Pre-Purchase Inspection - $200

For peace of mind before buying a used piano.

I recommend playing the instrument yourself first to make sure you like its tone. Once you’ve found a piano you’re interested in, I’ll perform a thorough inspection of its critical components. You’ll receive a written report with photos detailing the instrument’s true condition and any needed repairs.”

Mechanical Repairs - Pricing Varies

For work beyond a standard visit (broken strings, part replacements, regulation, etc.), I’ll provide a clear estimate before any work begins.”

I am based in Cupertino (95014) near De Anza College and typically service a 20-mile radius. Travel is included for all appointments within this service area.
